I’ve noticed that it is a lot colder here than in Edinburgh, maybe because it is in the countryside. The surroundings are beautiful despite the freezing weather. At least it hasn’t really rained while we have been here.

Arriving in Traquair
On Friday afternoon we arrived in Traquair, a small village approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes south of Edinburgh. It is most known for Traquair House - a few girls are staying within the House and the rest of us are staying in Howford House, a country residence which is a 5 minute drive away.
I’ve noticed that it is a lot colder here than in Edinburgh, maybe because it is in the countryside. The surroundings are beautiful despite the freezing weather. At least it hasn’t really rained while we have been here.
