Formal dinner

Last night there was a formal dinner at Traquair House - everyone dressed up even though it was freezing. We had dinner in the Dining Room - it was a very fancy meal. For entree I had pheasant and vennison terrine with Traquair ale chutney and toasted brioche.
For main, I had fillet of Scottish beef with raspberry coulis and nasturtium served with hasselbeck potatoes and vegetables.
For dessert there was Ecclefechan tart which I had no idea what it was - it turned out to be a fruit tart with raisins so I didn’t really eat it. But there were mint chocolates aswell.
We got group photos out the front of the House.
